Uncertainty Estimation for Gaussian Splatting

  • Used a spatial perturbation field and Bayesian approximation to assess uncertainty in pre-trained 3DGS scenes without modifying the training pipeline
  • Created a spatial uncertainty field visualizable through an additional color channel, enhancing interpretability
